Morning in Bright

• No bronzewings this morning
• Chough on the verge by the golf course on the way back - just one. There was one there yesterday too.
• Didn't see yesterday's small duckling family

At home

• Friar birds in the garden AGAIN in numbers.
• Blue-faced honey eaters have started showing up in the front callistemons over the last couple of days
• Magpie juvie had a bath in the back water baths this afternoon. We noticed last week that Dad had a limp. Saw him again this evening it seems to be worse.

Other notes

• Just remembered that yesterday we saw a bird of prey overhead that looked like a peregrine. Dark and fast. I went to get the binoculars that were on the table, it had gone intoa dive and was out of sight by the time I got back.
